Walking

On foot the hospital can be accessed via both the Northern Approach (public footpath) and Turner Road.

The hospital is just over three kilometres away from the town centre (approximately a 40 minute brisk walk) and one kilometre from the station approximately a 15 minute brisk walk). See the public transport map for walking route details.

Research suggests that if you do 10,000 accumulated walking steps every day it can lead to significant health benefits.
