Interactive Hospital Site Map

The interactive site map uses Macromedia Flash (see Macromedia website for more information).

The map shows the area around the hospital including building locations, car parks, bus stops and drop off points. A map of the centre of Colchester, car parks and public transport points is also included.

An interactive guide is availalble showing department locations on the Colchester site. Three levels of information can be accessed showing progressively more detail.

Level 1: Clicking on the desired location from the side menu identifys the location on the map. For locations above ground floor the level number is indicated within the circle, 1 indicating first floor, 2 the second.

Level 2: Selecting the 'Click here for more detail' button on the bottom left of the map opens a more detailed floor plan of the location, showing corridors, lifts, stairs. The department entrance is indicated with an arrow from the corridor.

Level 3: Selecting the 'View Photo' button at the bottom of the screen opens a new window showing a photo of the department entrance.
