Alternative Car Parking in Colchester
The car park at the hospital is usually very congested making parking difficult. A number of alternative car parks are available a short distance away at Colchester North Station and in Colchester Centre that have good public transport access to the hospital.
The car park at Colchester North Station is about a 1km walk from Colchester General Hospital and is the nearest public car park. Pay car parking is provided at the rail station from where onward train or bus journeys can be made. There are 1000+ parking spaces available and frequent bus services call at the station on route to and from Colchester General Hospital.
